"Not very nice at all, big breakfast was not very big, bacon was just fat, sausages were frozen and cheap, the plate was massive but the portion size wasn't, hash brown over cooked, everything tasted greasy, I gave the 2 stars for the cup of tea I had."
"This was the first time I had visited this cafe under its new owners and much of the praise I gave it before still applies with the same commitment to friendly service, value for money and general good practice. It is very much a family business and seems to have good appeal for young families as well as older people. The son does well front of house, while the open plan space leaves nowhere to hide for the parents in the kitchen, who take an obvious pride in the way they serve even simple meals. I had a cheese omelette, which was tasty and well cooked with an exceptionally well prepared salad garnish (see photo). There is a lot of competition for this market in Arnold, which is great news for visitors, but the owners of this cafe earn their place among their rivals. Their hard work and commitment to providing value food deserves the support of locals and visitors alike."
"I have never had a breakfast so bad.. Made my belly feel rotten.. I will never return I'm never usually so rude but the cheek of serving me the food you did is a joke and I should have demanded my money back."
"Paid £6.50 for this chilli con carne. Pictures actually make it look bigger than it was. Gobsmacked at how bad it actually was and at £6.50? Unbelievable"
