"Went off real ale a while back, but after three different ales here i think ill be back on them soon. Great pub, a real must for visitors to the area. Full but calm atmosphere"
"One of the better pubs in the city centre. This Black Country Ales pub, can be quiet at times, but remains warm and welcoming. But be aware, it can get very busy at weekends, especially if Wolves are playing at home! Offering a good and well kept selection of real ales from its 10 hand pumps."
"Excellent Black Country Brewery pub about 10 minutes walk from Wolverhampton Station. Seven cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I last visited including a porter and a mild. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered. The Georgian frontage of the pub dates from 1726 while the timber framed rear is 16th century. Busy but not impossibly so before and after the Spurs game at Molineux."
"A Black Country Ales pub, meaning that there’s always going to be a great selection of beers on sale. Quirky building, with lots of character. Knowledgable staff can always help with your ale decisions."
"Beautiful little traditional pub with a range of real ales on pull and a good choice of quality cobs behind the bar for sale. Friendly bar staff a clean pub and friendly customer atmosphere. There are 46 pubs on the black country trail this is one of them. I would definitely recommend this pub to stop off and enjoy the beers . Carl"
