"Unbelievable that it took around 40 years to upgrade a historic area as such. What is it with humans being soooo slow to accomplish things sometimes?!?"
"Lovely looking pool once completed"
"Well I never did. Quite an extraordinarily wonderful relic from the past golden age of extravagant excess in need of plenty of money and love to make it accessible, useable, viable, profitable for more than a few fairly rich people to enjoy..."
"Lovely miniature Georgian Changing rooms set around an old, small, derelict Victorian pool. Was originally a private members pool... then opened just on super hot days by Bath City Council. The local community are keen to see it sensitively restored.... and are opposing the vast scale of a current plan (just refused lottery funding) which would involve 40k visitors annually (in a residential cul-de-sac) and has had no involvement or support from the local community. Shame.... could be wonderful again with a sensitive, sensible approach."
"Fascinating recent history. Only accessible with an official guide."
