"Exceptional service from Jay. He is an absolute professional. Taking time to listen to what you want to purchase for a special present. Sourcing it and advising on the product. I couldn’t have asked for a better service and will look to go back for any other special purchase. Thank you very much Jay for the time that you took and for the explanation. A first class shopping experience."
"So its a thursday afternoon and im having to pawn my gold necklace for some money to basically survive whilst my mother is on a cruise for 16 days.So being as my mother usually goes into this fish brothers to pawn my necklace i thought i would have a visit myself to this place to pawn the necklace after finding the store half a hour later from where it usually was i enter the place and go to the second booth where a young lady is sitting behind the glass so i said i would like to pawn this necklace being as my mother has been in before and pawned this necklace and i am needing £100 to be able to come back and pick up the necklace again the following week or until i can get this money in order to get the necklace out.So the young lady says is this your address on your driving licence i answered yes it is.ok one sec se says whilst i go test this necklace.so im waiting for her to come back with a positive yes just like twice before when my mother had taken it in to this place.she comes back with part of the necklace brown so i said what have you done to the necklace oh she says we test it with a chemical to see if it is real so i replied yes to my knowledge and to my familys knowledge aswell as my fiancee.s this necklace was bought in a shop and it is 9ct gold.being as i have a engagement ring which is 9ct gold and is even hallmarked.well sorry she says were unable to take this necklace.so i leave the store really ticked off that ive just took my time to bring this necklace in to this place and to be turned away being told it is not 9ct gold got up my nose that much i went two doors away to a place called mallards.walked in said could u test this necklace so the guy looked it with a magnifying glass scraped the necklace and says yes i cant see whats wrong with this necklace how much are you looking for ? i answered £100 please .the guy then said to come to the booth where the money would be given. So after this success in this mallards shop and then went back to fish brothers and confronted the young lady and asked what chemical she used to do this " test" she came back and showed me a bottle of nitric acid i then said well how comes mallards just told me there is nothing wrong with this necklace then...she then replied well take it to there then. This is called turning your customers away which for the bussiness itself isnt good.i suggest the young lady at booth 2 should be taking further lessons in keeping your customers happy.this lady even said if she was to take the necklace in she would or could lose her job.i did not enter this place to put anyones job in jeopardy as we all know the necklace is infact 9ct gold."
