"I was very impressed with with the service provided. I required the disconnection of an obsolete power shower and installation of a thermostatic surface mounted mini shower. I received a quotation for the work quickly after contacting John and this was undertaken shortly after. The removal of the old shower threw up some problems and I was kept informed regarding the necessary work. Despite the problems the work was completed in one morning at the quoted price. The work area was well protected at all times. I will use John's services in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them to others."
"Had a leaky faucet issue in the laundry room. Steve came out. We thought we'd go with at new box but after a look we realized the way the previous box had been installed, it would take a lot more work than was anticipated. No problem, Steve used the old box set up, welded me in a couple of new pipe sections and mounted new faucets. No leaks, looks great, and he left the place as clean as it was when he arrived. I would DEFINITELY use Cruickshank's again."
"My tenant reported the carbon monoxide alarm was going off ,so I called John and told him if he could go and sort out the problem ,which he did by cutting off all the gas to the property. This left the tenant with no heating, no hot water and no gas hob to cook on .When I called John to complain that the tenant had no way to cook her food he stated she could always go to deliveroo or buy a pizza to put in the oven. When I asked him why did he not check the carbon monoxide emmisions he said he did not have time as he wanted to get home for tea, and he was too busy with other work to sort it out. The next day I called out an emergency gas fitter who turned the gas on after checking the carbon monoxide emmisions which read nil and checked the alarm which was faulty so was destroyed. John appeared to be a genuine man but not a very proffeshional approach to an easy solution for my tenant."

When we finally met with John, he managed our issue within couple of days. He sorted out the communication between our manager and us, he updated us several times on progression of our solution, and he fixed our issue with expertise and intelligence. On top of that John was really friendly, considerate and cool!"
