"Fine park for a walk around and has a children’s playground that’s been refreshed quite recently. The playground has an ok range of things like a climbing frame and slide, swings and a merry go round. Not the biggest of playgrounds in Cardiff, but it’s not the smallest. It’s not my favourite of the parks in Cardiff (Roath, Bute and Cefn Onn parks) so I wouldn’t make a special trip here, but it’s not terrible either. The City Line runs on one side of the park (it’s fenced off) and Rhiwbina halt’s in one corner of the park. On another side there’s a brook, it runs along a concrete culvert and is also fenced-off as the water can be fast running. A lot of the park is taken up by sports pitches, but is fine as a green space to walk around. There’s also a car park by the pavilion (it’s off Northern Avenue) but the spaces aren’t marked, which is fine when it’s quiet, but possibly a bit of a free for all when it’s busy. Rhiwbina village is a short walk from the park, with cafes there. Or Whitchurch village is a further walk across Northern Avenue and down St Margaret’s Road and has a good selection of cafes."
"Enjoy your walking at lunch time or running at morning or just breathing all day."
"It's a nice big field but grass needed cutting in my case they play football on a Saturday morning there the play park was a nice size with lots too keep the little ones going for a bit"
"One word...Fabulous. everything you could ask for, excellent service, excellent quality food, excellent location for shopping, excellent staff who cannot help you enough. Good size rooms very clean, nice mattress....just brilliant."
"Easy to miss the turning, but plenty of parking and lots of pitches. Although can be a bit bumpy and some pitches were on a bit of a slant! Great venue for seeing lots of matches at one time though. And a good area to walk your dog."
