Reviews
"Really worth a visit. Lovely centres with a lot to see. IF you're wanting to do photography you need a long lens as the bird life is quite a long way from the hides."
"Plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. Flat well maintained paths for walkers. Good value at £6 for an adult day pass."
"Lovely visit after a long time. Not too busy and walked to a series of hides and saw lots of birds. The centre had good food/snack options and we were impressed with the binocular sales area as that was a key reason for our visit. Will certainly go again."
"Very disappointing, long walks to hides which are so far from the water that even if there were any birds there you would not be able to see them without high powered binoculars or massive zoom lenses. £5 per head for a car park ticket and permission to "bird watch" I saw two cows and a few ducks. My home town has two RSPB reserves where you can view many species of birds at close range with no problem, one charges £3 per person , and the other £1 parking charge. Our £10 would have been better spent on a bottle of wine, much more enjoyable."
"One of the best places for watching birds as there are a wide variety of species with a great visitor with friendly staff and many bird hides ensures a good visit whatever the weather."
