"Stayed for a long weekend. Room was good. Slept fine. Decided to have breakfast at the hotel in their restaurant. Firstly I was asked room no and walked over to the rest of my party. No one asked if I had any special requirements or told me where to find coffee toast etc. They had audacity to put a service charge on the bill. Found dirty cup when I was going to use coffee machine. Picked an apple which was past its days. When I gave these to the gentleman who was behind the till he flippantly responded it can happen one in so many. I am pretty disgusted. I asked for poached eggs was told you can get what is there only. No one came to table to ask how breakfast was. No condiments on the table I had to find a member of staff to ask for some. Breakfast was cold by the time he bought them to the table. This experience was awful the staff need extra training. The hotel staff at reception on the other hand were much nicer. When we came back from shopping they offered us tea and coffee in club lounge."
"My wife and I stayed here for a week on a recent trip and we would stay here again. It is located in a wonderful place if you are in town to see the theater. The neighborhood is abundant with great little pubs and restaurants. It is a short walk to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus. The hotel is quiet and clean. The staff was friendly."
"This Club Quarters hotel is a real case of the really good & the really bad. I’ll preface this review with the fact that I was booked into this hotel by my American television network. I was sent to London to cover the Queen's funeral. The hotel was fully booked for my 4 night stay. The good: Location- couldn't be anymore centrally located. Steps from Trafalgar Sq, Whitehall, Admiralty Arch, The Mall, Michigan Palace, Westminster. The staff- Everyone seemed to be willing to go above and beyond to help. The full English breakfast buffet was good. A little steeply priced at $25 imoh, but I just told myself that it was corporate money. The cost of doing business etc etc. Bed was comfy 7.5/10 Never a wait for breakfast, I did enjoy my morning meal. The Bad: Room 733. Old, worn, stuffy, humid, stained bedrooms. The a/c blew very humid damp warmish air into the room. The rooms are serviced every three days (unless more requested). All the bathroom fittings were light plastic and the towel holder was broken. No bathroom extraction fan. No storage space to put hairdryer, curling tongs etc (if that's your thing). The bathroom is so small the toilet bowl had to be installed on an angle to fit. As was the sink. Very very strange. The two bath towel were of large size and suitable. Again, this was a work trip, so I wasn't on vacation and looking to get pampered, but the place needs a significant update. The elevators are tiny. I would not recommend this hotel."
"Great hotel in London. Staff did everything they could to help you with any issue and were super approachable and friendly. The location is fantastic and little things like the club room, free laundry access and free filtered water make this a great value place to stay. Rooms are small and a little old fashioned but it's an old building so can't expect something super modern. Shower water pressure could be improved and the bed sunk in the middle. Overall it was a great place to stay for 3 nights during our London stopover."
