"Hotel rooms are nice and the location. The staff are some of the worst I have ever faced. Take into account that I traveled more than 200 days last year and I have been staying in Fraser locations around the world. Never again after London. First time I visited the location it did not have hot water. The stuff didn’t care and were rude whilst receptionists did not speak English adequately. Moreover, I had a late night out came back to the hotel At 2 am my card wasn’t working and I needed someone to help me. No one was around I started making some noise so the people could wake up nothing happened. I called the hotel after 10 minutes someone came and told him I am waiting for you for 10 minutes and he told me “You are a liar”…"
"Last year I’ve booked a flat with “garden view” but all I’ve got was a dark lower ground flat facing a grey wall + the bottom view of an iron bridge to the garden / not worth the price at all And also I wouldn't trust the 5 star views like the one mentioning great views from the 6th floor, since this property has only 4 floors."
"Whilst the reception staff were very nice and responsive, the building itself is tired and lots of things do not work. I had a lower ground floor 1-bed, which was facing a busy street, cannot open windows for fresh air(( and the room was extremely dark at all times. I would not recommend to anyone to stay in lower ground floor flats for the money. The aircon did not work properly, the sauna was not functioning, although I was really looking forward to using it. The gym was a tiny basement room - hardly pleasurable to exercise there. Also constructions all over the building with accompanying dust and dirt. Regrettably, did not feel it was worth the money. On the plus side, excellent location and a lovely communal garden, nice reception staff, nice Nespresso coffee in the reception (although a lot of 5 star places put Nespresso machines in the room)."
"Construction again! This used to be a nice place for us to stay when in London due to the nice garden it faced. I recently passed by there and thought I should take a photo and share of a new construction that appears to have just started with contruction workers on balconies, large trucks delivering construction equipment and yet the contruction hasnt even started. What is worse is that reservations line dont even mention this when you want to make a reservation. Previously I stayed at other Fraser properties in Asia which are actually not badly managed. May be they should transfer some talent over to this one."
"We use to come every summer to enjoy mild london summer. Stay near shops and enjoy its beautiful communal garden, but 2 big BUTS this year: 1-A big construction just recently started with workers shouting at each other and throwing things on the floor. 2- neighbourhood has gotten very very rough. Pot smokers almost everywhere including in the garden. Didnt find it to be a nice place for a family with young kids."
