"I didn’t stay at this hotel because I canceled my booking in advance. Please be aware that there are some rooms without window. But they don’t mention it clearly in their offer. Even if you asked them for one with window, they wouldn’t make a promise. So in the end you could pay 200 Euros per night for a room without window. We didn’t like that so we canceled. I would recommend to offer the rooms with and without window seperatly and with different prices like other hotels do. For me as a future customer this is much more clearly during the booking process."
"TLDR: The experience at this hotel was terrible on several levels (small room, noisy, fire alarm, bad service). Not worth the price, even if location is great. Longer version: We had booked the Deluxe Double Room, so upon arrival we were a bit surprised at how small the room was. Adding to that, we were given an "accessible room". Great for people with disabilities ! But unfortunately not the best for us as we had to be on our knees to properly use the sink. The room was extremely noisy overnight with little (if any) sound insulation, which meant waking up several times during the night. On top of that, we were woken up at 7am by a first fire alarm (false alarm), which only lasted several seconds but was enough to shake us awake. We quickly realized what triggered this false alarm when after showering, my partner opened the bathroom door only for the false alarm (ours this time) to be triggered again. The fire alarm system being too close to the bathroom, it is triggered every time the bathroom door is opened right after a shower. I will not go over in detail over the whole story with one of the hotel receptionists knocking at and storming in our room (mind you, my partner only had a towel around her), and lecturing us about how we should not open the door after a shower! Or how the same thing happened the day after, and we were again made felt as if it was our fault that the fire alarm was so poorly placed. We were also told it was the first time this happened, but looking at previous reviews on Google it seems to be a recurrent problem. Overall a terrible experience. I would not recommend this if you want a good night of sleep."
"While the room is very small (even though we had a 'club' room) it was extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent, the air conditioning great, the amenities and linen very high quality. The location is good and the staff were friendly."
"To be blunt this hotel can't deliver what it says on the tin and is frankly one of the worst hotels I've stayed at when factoring in price. Ignore whatever people above are saying positively recently, some reviewers here seem to have Stockholm syndrome. Rooms are tiny even by European standards and simply aren't big enough for two people to navigate around in. We had room type cosy double. Why bother with a double bed in a room this size? You couldn't physically fit a queen bed in if you tried. I just laughed at one recent reviewers suggestion of doing yoga in the room, perhaps if you are a contortionist you might find it possible. They need to completely remodel the hotel to make the rooms 20-30% bigger or cut the price 20% to reflect what you're really getting. No luggage racks to unfold suitcases, no coffee in room. No actual clothes cupboard just a rod hanging off a wall. No fridge. We had noise in our room from rubbish collections daily next to our window. We were also underground and not at street level or above which gives you dungeon vibes. Service from the front desk is lacking and was cold and transactional for a 4 star hotel. Our rooms hot water frequently went in and out of heat. Cleaners came into our room despite DND being hung on door. Location is quite good. Rooms also quite modern in their furnishings which as you can tell is one of the few positives."
"I stayed here for one night and it was a great experience. I chose the double room (304) and it had a window facing the mews! It was easy to get around the place as well despite my room being on the 3rd floor! The room had all the amenities! It was compact like the Nordic way of living which I enjoyed! I needed a taxi on the day as well and the receptionist ordered it for me! They also phoned my room to let me know my driver had arrived! The receptionists were also fun and nice unlike the reviews which state otherwise. I would definitely pick this place again if I needed to stay in this area for the future. The price was reasonable and since I’m not a coffee or tea person I didn’t really care much about the lack of this in my room. They did have a water jug with glasses which was great! Exactly what I needed after my travel."
