"Lovely site, well maintained and dog friendly. Enjoyed lunch on site. Fish & chip van visited on Wednesday evening. Stayed on north site. Toilet/shower blocks very clean & warm (piped radio music a bit loud though at times). Hold tribute act events although have not attended one yet. Would recommend site to anyone looking for a clean, adult, dog friendly site with good walking opportunities."
"Excellent Adults only site, with friendly, helpful staff. All very tasteful. Fantastic bar serving wonderful breakfasts and Sunday lunches. Lovely pitches overlooking lakes and stunning countryside. If I had to find fault, which is very difficult to do, it would be that the piped music in showers and toilets is far too LOUD, apart from that nothing negative to report."
"We have thoroughly enjoyed 2 holidays of 2 weeks each one of the 5 star lodges. Excellent facilities and wonderful staff.. The fishing has been excellent on both visits and we have booked for this year and provisionally for 2024. A calm retreat which is our pleasure to visit. Love the bar too, so clean and friendly. See you in July"
"An amazing hideaway with good security yet open and available to day visitors for lovely walks around the fishing lakes and beyond. Nice tidy grounds well-maintained and some wildlife. The cafe is open to a nice range of lunchtime snacks and a bar serrving drinks including tea and coffee. Clean and welcoming with nice friendly staff and handy menus. Nice clean toilets and a lovely wooden-chalet feel too. A helpful reception area ready to answer questions on the facilities and wider tourist interests, with a gift shop and a few basic household goods. Definitely worth a visit and exploration. Ring through to main reception to gain entry - no fuss.- and auto release on the way out."
"Beautifully kept site, very clean and tidy. Lovely walks in the area and plenty of room on caravan pitches. We stayed on North site and pitches were nicely screened by hedges and plants. We had a delicious Sunday lunch at the restaurant too! We will definitely return!"
