"We were welcomed by Peter, Paula and Roxy the dog on our arrival on the hottest day of the year so far. After passing the beautifully kept garden, Roxy (especially Roxy), chickens at the front, cows at the back and the lovely exposed beams of this lovely bed and breakfast, our children were already asking when we could come back as we were only there for one night. It really is Peter and Paula's friendliness and attention to detail that sets the Hungarton Bed and Breakfast apart. We prewarned that my son has a dairy and nut allergy and we were thoughtfully provided soya milk in the room, and for breakfast. We had the choice of practically anything as far as I could tell. Full English was just the right start to the day, my wife mentioned all the way back home how much she enjoyed the mushrooms. I replied, but what about the fresh fried egg, the smoky bacon or the sausage? Again, dairy alternatives were provided for butter and milk. The two rooms here are comfortable and homely providing a restful sleep in a beautiful quiet village well positioned if for nearby attractions and Leicester itself. Thank you, we had a lovely stay, and we were sad to leave."
