"We visited the George to celebrate my friend Marks Birthday. We all had great meals they were hot and perfectly presented. I had Serloin steak which was cooked just how i like it. I heard that the chef was Portuguese so i went to the kitchen to meet him being Portuguese my self. I would definitely go back again thank you Tomas."
"Went tonight as a gift. Service was 5 star, everyone was attentive and polite. Unfortunately, food was poor. Steak and Ale pie, 3 of us had, was a very poor quality of meat. Had the same meal in April last year, was gorgeous."

"We had a chicken baguette and a cheese and pickle on and loved it, so much we came back for a Sunday dinner.... Superb, didn't want it to end. Only gripe is we had the chocolate browny and sticky toffee pudding (both incredible) but we were charged extra as we didn't pay at the same time as the main meal...... Was told the till won't let them do it for the same price as the fixed menu!!! 4 * due to this...."
