"My son is at Colden Nursery and it has been a truly excellent experience. We moved from London where he was at a large and busy nursery which was good and he enjoyed it but I have to say, does not hold a candle to Colden. Colden has a very holistic approach of really getting to know the children and thinking through their learning and social needs. He regularly attends the afterschool club which he particularly loves and his literacy, numeracy and social skills along with his confidence have sky rocketed. As a parent I have access to the Tapestry app which keeps me updated on his day to day activities and the early years learning skills he is developing. Staff communicate regularly and take the time to get to know parents. On top of that its in an amazing setting with so much outdoor stuff - Forest School, Treasure hunts, local walks, building tipi's down by the river - the list goes on. He often does not want to come home..."
"Our kids loved this nursery! Set in beautiful countryside, with lovely staff. Kept the kids busy and spent loads of time outside. Brilliant feedback on how they were doing, loads of lovely photos of all the fun they had. Brilliant start to a happy time at the attached junior school"
"Fantastic group, really friendly and welcoming. They have been like a second family to all our foster children."
"What a wonderful little nursery! At Colden, small is beautiful, giving the kids much more time, attention and nurturing than is usually possible at a nursery. And the location is second to none too, with countryside and nature all around, that they make full use of with the kids. The kids will growing up hearing curlews and seeing lambs and sheep as they play, and I've even seen hares boxing from the playground before! Really fabulous little place."
"Colden Early Years Nursery and Children's Club is a real hidden gem! It's set in such beautiful countryside which is explored extensively by my daughter and her friends and nursery staff whatever the weather. It's a small setting so the staff really do make it feel like a family, and are able to offer real child led learning. A big bonus for me is that in September, my daughter will be moving up to reception, instead of this being a big scary leap, she is simply moving to the room next door with a teacher she has met many times and with children she knows and loves. My daughter also loves the Children's club (after school) where she gets lots of free play time with children from 3-11. For our only child this social time with bigger kids is heaven on earth! Again another family feel with seasonal events and parties put on throughout the year. We couldn't recommend highly enough!"
