"A very disappointing experience, Paid over £22 for a journey to Menston which should only have cost £12., driver took the long way home. No sense in the directions, we had given our postcode even when I advised the driver to turn right at murgatroyds I was ignored and the driver carried on taking us all the way to the guiesely jct and home that way which is possibly the longest way to get to where we live. I thinks it's wise to book an Uber or a local company, arrow cars take advantage of the location they are in. I will definitely not be using them again. Just to add our taxi to the airport from a local firm from our home to the airport only cost £17 which included the surcharge to drop off right outside the airport.... Shame on arrow taxis for taking advantage."

"I ordered a taxi in advance around 7am on the day I wanted picking up, and I ordered it for 1pm. It didn’t arrive for 30 minutes, and when I called the first time to see where my taxi was as I hadn’t received a confirmation text, they said 5 minutes which turned into 25. The next time I called they answered the phone and then hung up and I couldn’t reach them after that. Absolutely shameful!"

"We took a taxi from the airport on New Year's Eve. The taxi driver ran through a red light and slammed into another car. Airbags went off and the other car spun into a lamp post. Fortunately we were both wearing seat belts but suffering chest injuries and are currently waiting in hospital A&E. The driver didn't even ask if we were ok. He phoned base and a taxi was despatched to pick him up but we were left abandoned in the rain. The taxi cost was £86 which hasn't been refunded. We had to pay a further £70 to get another taxi home. £40 taxi to the hospital with a 13 hour wait to see a doctor, then a return taxi home to pay. Needless to say this incident ruined our holiday and new year. If you like banger racing and 24 hours in A&E then book these! ** Update: Nearly two months later and I still haven't had a refund"

"Arrived into LBA and was quoted £28 for a 10 minute taxi journey to Horsforth. Ordered an uber instead which cost £8. Provides a totally generic/ thoughtless response to bad reviews without even reading the review properly - for example asking for a booking reference for people who did not book."

"Left high and dry. I needed to be in Newcastle for work so prebooked and paid for an early taxi to get me to York train station but was called half an hour before pick up to be told they couldn’t honour the booking. Total disaster. How they can accept an important trip, then cancel at such late notice is crazy. Passengers need to be told their bookings are not guaranteed and they simply try find someone at the time. If nobody is near you they just cancel. It’s ridiculously unreliable. Never ever use arrow cars if the trip is important."
