"Visited this amazing club to see Robert Jon & The Wreck. We are so glad we did. Steve the landlord, his family and the team made us feel so welcome, it felt like we were VIP's.. We wish we lived closer! The room was a good size and well laid out. The locals were so friendly we felt at home immediately. The sound was absolutely brilliant, by far the best we'd heard all weekend ; and bearing in mind we'd just come from Winter's End Festival and had listened to 21 bands, that is pretty exceptional!! We will definitely be returning in the near future, despite the venue being over 300 miles from our home. Thank you for an absolutely amazing night!"
"Had a brill evening fab shoe with a tribute band called Rhiannon Fleetwood Mac enjoyed"
"The concert hall has a stage, sound and lights system as good as that used on the Old Grey Whistle Test TV program. Friendly staff. Clean glasses and quality beers. Still the best small music venue in Cardiff"
"Our favourite smaller music venue in Cardiff. Very friendly and safe atmosphere and so many great nights including the free events in the bar (with an emphasis on blues, classic rock and blues-rock). Larger events take place in the hall with a large dance floor which is well used. Usually some decent ales although I no longer drink at all, so I can only envy those who enjoy them! Reasonable prices (and discounts for members). Easy parking, free in the evenings. No food served but multiple restaurants nearby, particularly Indian."
"Most days of the week musical events take place. The club is split into 3 rooms.Bar,lounge & backroom. All have their own bar.Sunday, today,I was listening to 'the Sun Dogs' in the backroom. This is big enough for a band on stage, plenty of room for the audience & lots of room to get up & dance,if inclined."
