"I was charged for attending a free health checkup as part of my pet plan at Medivet. I received the email reminder. Rang to make a booking. They asked if I had any health concerns & I said I was concerned about his eyes having goop occasionally. The receptionist said she was booked me on the to a vet. No mentioned was made that it is usually an appointment with nurse or that there may be a charge applied. After my appointment I was given the bill that included a consultation charge. Why do customers (of 5 yrs) get charged for a free health check? VERY disappointed!! This is not the first issue we have had with charges. We were double charged for our pet planned as a couple occasions & had to chase Medivet accounts (not them resolving their account error) several times to be resolved! I am hoping this can be resolved without posting the Trust Pilot & Nextdoor review I have drafted. Thanks, Simon Robson (Acton Medivet)"
"Awful experience with putting my 12 year dog down. From getting him cremated to getting his ashes back. To which the box was broken. Devastated wasn’t the word. They continue to tell me they will order me another one and would take 2 weeks maximum. I Called the vet back 2 weeks later to the reply of ‘ oh I thought you had the box by now I have been on training’ she then followed it up after me calling a few weeks later to see. As if nobody else could of followed this up. To which the receptionist then told me the crematorium then couldn’t find a box under my name. She went onto say they either forgot or didn’t make the box. So unprofessional. What was suppose to be a horrible experience as it is, it turned into the worst time I could imagine. Wanted to speak to a manger to be told they don’t have a manger ! Ridiculous."
