"Awful experience with this vet. They administered a second vaccine and my pet went painful all over his body and wouldn't eat nor even walk. When I rung up to simply ask if this was normal (as this was never discussed as a potential outcome) I was told my only option was have to come in for a consult and pay another £45 pound. No vet would simply take a call to tell me if this was normal or not. To add to this, I wasn't even told when the next vaccine needed to take place, which seems like critical information to leave out. From my perspective, this is a business run in a manner that relies on excessive visits to run up consultation fees. Medivet is owned by CVC Capital, a venture capital / private equity firm. Profit is clearly the primary goal of a venture capital backed business. Also, try calling them before 11am and you'll just be told to call back later....because that's how customer service should work."
"Recently had to have my beloved female cat put to sleep . Couldn't ask for nicer reception staff and vets . Gave my boyfriend and I plenty of time to say goodbye to her before and after. It was a heartbreaking evening and they sorted out my pet insurance claim too as I was so upset . 10 /10 from me . Thankyou for being a great vets practice."
