"Amazing hote to stay in. Brilliant reception staff, especially Blessing, credit to the company. If you need anything they are happy to help at any time of the day. Breakfast is brilliant and something there for literally everyone. Couldn’t fault it one bit. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our weekend even better."
"Loved my stay here - the reception lady was just so welcoming and helpful, she actually randomly upgraded me which was a nice surprise after a long day of travelling! The room was beautiful, spacious, clean etc - bathroom lovely, clean and modern. The only issue was dinner - I ordered a chicken burger and chips and got boiled potatoes and a birds eye frozen chicken breast. It was fine as I think there was a kitchen issue but I did think it was a bit crazy to charge £20 or so. If your kitchen isn’t working, no problem but don’t charge the full usual price. Breakfast the next morning was delightful though! overall really pleasant!"
"Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Room was okay, great view of city and bathroom very clean and fancy. Carpets are very dated however and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice and quite delicious. Restaurant is however very very warm seems there is no air con and was actually so warm we felt sick. Great location close to everything you need."
"Let's look at the positives. The room was clean and presentable, if a little soulless. The breakfast was very satisfactory - I was happy with that. The staff were very welcoming on check in. Unfortunately that completes the positives, and it feels like I am clutching a little with those. I visited the fitness room - let's not call it more than that - to find of the four machines in the room, two were broken. I then tried to have a bath - to find my bath plug wouldn't seat properly and as such drained constantly, making a bath an impossibility. On reporting my issues at reception on checkout, the response was "I will report that for you". Not long on customer service at that point. A 4* hotel in a prime location in Cardiff, selected for specifically the availability of a fitness suite overall was disappointing. Would I return - possibly. Given it was a business stay and the price is in budget and the location makes it attractive. As to the quality of stay, I would have had justcas good at any number of alternative offers, and were there a Premier Inn next door I would be there next time."
"This is not a luxury hotel and not worth the price tag. We booked a “superior “ room as we attended a concert near by so location is great. The rooms are not as advertised, tired and basic. 1 main ceiling light , basic/cheap furniture. Food is terrible. We had breakfast and had to clear a table ourselves. Food was cold and not worth it. We had a great lunch at the bar and this gave us hope so we thought we would order room service. After calling the main hotel phone number….. as they don’t give you the room service number, we ordered burgers and fries which turned up cold and the burgers were dry. We decided to leave early the next day and at checkout a lovely receptionist was very apologetic about our stay and gave us an email address so I could make a complaint. Unfortunately they don’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge a complaint and have not heard a word. Please read reviews and do not book a Raddison hotel."
