"Let's face it the only reason you'd ever stay here is because you have an early flight. So the location was perfect for that, everything else? Meh Oh an yes, the upper sleeping level (bunk bed) may well comply with all safety standards if Ibis weren't to add a second mattress to take it beyond the safe mattress height and level with the rail. Which genius thought of that?"
"It caters for a lot of people so you have to be prepared to go with the flow. It was good but I did have to be patient when queuing to check in and ordering my food in the restaurant... You can see when the staff are under pressure. My room was clean and adequate but there are no frills, ie no tea making facilities. The great thing is that you literally fall out of bed and your at departures...very convenient and exactly as advertised... Budget!"
"Great overnight stop before flight. 3 min walk to airport. Friendly staff, comfy, if a bit small room, breakfast plentiful and ok. The no kettle complaints unfounded because free tea coffee etc available on first floor. Would use again."
"Excellent location in Birmingham airport. Very basic room, but the beds are comfortable, rooms and other areas are all clean and well kept. Convenient bar and restaurant located downstairs, and shops at the airport are just across the car park."
