"Had a phone call 2 hours before we were due to check in, having already being on the road on our way to say we couldn't stay as there was no water due to frozen pipes. Completely get that it's unforeseen and out of their hands but to be told 2 hours before check in left no opportunity to arrange something else for our wedding anniversary. A phone call earlier in the day would have been perfect, having to turn the car around and head back home is a sickener! Gutted is an understatement."
"Perfect escape for a few days of relaxation. Chris and Emily-Jane were super friendly, the roundhouse was immaculate and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for a countryside retreat while close enough to villages and towns for shopping and days out. Plenty of nice places to eat at nearby, we also hired a bbq during our stay, which was well worth it! Beautiful, quiet setting with the only noise from birds and the church bell. Will definitely return!"
"Perfect get away, I couldn't recommend it more. Hot tub was clear and comfortable. Garden area was perfect especially in the warm evenings. Bed was like a cloud, I didn't want to leave it. Loads to do around the area, 5 stars for everything. Thank you for the perfect break x"
"Great hosts who we met on our stay, which I appreciate so know who is on hand to help if needed but at same time were not imposing in any way. A perfect place to relax after visiting local area. Great dog walks from the door. Felt very private when using the hot tub. There are other lodges on site but didn’t hear any noise from neighbours as the lodges are built with privacy in mind. Really comfortable bed, and just the right space for a few days away. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you"
