"Such a beautiful place to visit. The Hall transports you back to a bygone era, much of it instantly recognisable when/if you watch 'Gentleman Jack'. The grounds looked like they would be stunning but were covered in snow, so we didn't see them at their best, and the Folk Museum is worth a visit too."
"Visited October 2022. What a lovely park. Pleasant scenic walks with a great play area. The Cafe was excellent and good value. Will definitely visit again when in the area."
"Nice place to visit - good for kids as not enormous. Has a boating lake and good cafe. House and outbuildings are very interesting and have a lot of character. Anne Lister the most famous owner but other interesting history too. More character profiles of staff and groundsmen would add to experience."
"Absolutely brilliant park for walks, has a great kids area and they love it. Lots of parking spaces which is good. They host funfairs and a yearly circus. Lots of places to see within. Great scenery. They have paddling and rowing boats also which you can hire. Loads of wildlife if you like tour pictures like me."
