"Our Cavapoo Vera has always been a fairly fussy, and rather grumpy diva. She's never been a huge fan of being handled and so has always been a tricky customer when it came to grooming. But Yuila at the Hound Hut always manages to work wonders with her, and Vera leaves her appointments soft and fluffy, and smelling amazing - and so far with minimal drama! After a few months we decided to start her at the doggy daycare also run by Hound Hut - as she was already familiar with the location and staff. We were apprehensive as she often finds too many other dogs overwhelming but knowing that they had a limit of just 8 similar sized pups we decided it would be the best thing to help her social skills. After an unsure start I can honestly say it's made such a huge difference. She's a much happier and confident dog now, and she absolutely loves going each week. I truly can't recommend the Hound Hut team enough for their care and patience. Rob, Anthony, Andrew and the rest of the staff are so brilliant and knowledgeable, and Vera just adores her time with them. That's not to mention all of the wonderful treats, toys and accessories in the shop itself - they have everything you might need under one roof. The ice cream is a big hit for us in the summer!"

"We had to bring our 11yr old Jack Russell Bo to a wedding at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel as we had no one to look after him at home. We were slightly anxious about having to leave him with a stranger for 6 hours as he is 11yrs old and feared he would be nervous, but our dog absolutely loved Rob who is kind, calm and very reassuring. During the day kept us updated with a photo of Bo having fun with the other dogs in his care. Bo was dropped back at the hotel and we could see he really happy and relaxed. I can highly recommend using the service."

The staff are friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble, can't believe they even remember all of the dogs names Pluto loves going in for his treats and the food is all natural. "Quite simply put the Hound Hut and its fantastic owners/staff are one of the main reasons we survived year one of having a puppy! Great selection of food, natural treats and toys etc, as well as invaluable advice on nutrition and training and a free puppy weigh-in service. Their grooming and daycare services are hands down best in the area. Always a friendly welcome and after visiting just once I promise you that your dog will DRAG you there every time you walk past. Cannot recommend these guys more highly!"
