"Came for the Sunday carvery and it was delicious. Lovely meat and scrumptious help yourself sides. The owner was really welcoming, the referb is top quality. Family friendly, our little girl was welcomed and accommodated for. Only constructive criticism is that staff could have been a little more tentative with asking us about starters, desserts and drinks, as each time we had to ask after waiting, but it was busy."
"Thoroughly enjoyed the 10oz gammon followed by sticky toffee pudding. Wife had the hot pot and apple crumble. Child had chicken goujons and chocolate brownie. Good, friendly service. 4 adults 1 child not over priced at approx £120 We'll be back."
"New years day carvery with family. Only had main, no starter or pudding. Absolutely beautiful food. Really good meat and mash particularly. Can't fault anything food wise. Booked at 11 for 3pm but upon arrival they had no record of my booking. Luckily it was only a couple of minutes for them to set a table for us. Staff were over attentive rather than under attentive. Will be back."
"My wife and I visited here on the 1st Dec for a lunch time meal we were both so impressed with the place everything from the surroundings, comfort and staff, very comfy seats in the bar lounge area where we had our meal due to the fact that we took our dog along. The meal itself was fantastic although we both went for the traditional meals I had the fish and chips with mushy peas and my wife has the scampi both portions were ample and very fresh and tasty with a very reasonable price we will definitely return again"
