"Tried on 9 items, which took me about 30 minutes. A normal amount of time I think and never a problem other places. The changing rooms were empty so there was no inconvinience to others. I heard someone grumbling about the time someone was spending in the changing rooms, and chose to ignore this as it may not have been about me. But thought it was unprofessional to moan loudly about customers with others around still. As I went to pay for a top, my politness was met with passive aggressive grunts and shrugs. It made me feel very uncomfotable, I want to support local business but I was made to feel like I inconveniently wasnt spending enough money only purchasing one thing. They are lucky I would buy anything at all. There is no decourum from the man in this shop. I would return the item but I feel reading the other reviews this would end in more unpleasantry and further ruin the lovely mood I was in."

"I have been going to Luxour for years, the service is excellent. Heather and Kavian have always been so helpful and Heather knows exactly what will suit me. It is a pleasure to buy such beautiful clothes and buy everything in one store. Both Heather and Kavian always take time to chat on a friendly personal level not expecting you to purchase no pressure at all. I bought the most gorgeous outfit yesterday and went back for it today. "If there was a zero score this would still be too much. The man in this store is one of the most unpleasant human beings I have ever encountered. Its a small low grade store selling a lot of clothes under £20. He follows you around the store muttering under his breath as you touch clothes to look at them... he goes behind you to tidy the rails when you put something back.. tuts when you try on an item that doesn't fit and gives you verbal abuse when you don't buy something. I came out of there quite shaken up by the experience. I gave £20 to charity instead of lining his pocket.. it felt good! He gives small local business a bad name and doesn't deserve your hard earned money."

"Do you expect me to just walk out and say nothing after she has snatched the bag off me and been rude to me just because I did not buy the bag. I am not surprised at your response the reviews say it all neither of you have any idea of customer service."

"Went in today with my friend as the clothes looked lovely, unfortunately the man at the desk made us feel very unwelcome, whenever we looked at an item he followed us around and readjusted the clothing. He then started muttering in an annoyed way under his breath. I honestly don’t know how he expect to sell items if people aren’t allowed to view them. From his replies to other reviewers I can see our impressions of him were correct by his extremely rude replies. I wouldn’t go back there or recommend to anyone based on his behaviour which is a shame as the clothes are lovely."
