"The best health service place i have ever been. Everyone is so kind, sweet, friendly, and made me feel like i was not alone even though i went there alone. They give me not only physical support but also mental support. I love all of them. I am glad i have such kind of health service in UK even though it is so called free. People in UK are so lucky that they have good health care for free. In my country, only super expensive private hospitals offer those kind of super friendly and helpful service. I give 5 stars."

"This hospital and its staff are incredible. Having experienced a range of public and private healthcare in various countries, I’d like to think I have a fairly unbiased view of what St. Michael’s offers. The staff are skilled, empathic, attentive, and brilliant at what they do. The building is well-maintained, it doesn’t feel like a clinical maze and feels as homely as a hospital can get, records are well maintained, appointments are timely, there’s continuity of care, and they work as a unit. It’s a hard job, and I’m sure it’s an unforgiving one at times, but they do it with a smile on their face, are incredibly professional, and they do it to the best of their ability. Thank you x"

"BEWARE WARD 73. Although I had a traumatic birth in the delivery suite, the staff and care were exemplary. I felt so looked after. I was then transferred to ward 73. The difference was night and day. I was given very little information on anything, such as what support I could expect from the staff there, when food might arrive or facilities available such as mother and baby rooms (Only discovered these days later). After visiting hours -6pm, I felt completely alone and terrified. Having a catheter meant I was limited in my movement so I rang for help with my first dirty nappy. It took quite some time to get anyone and when someone came around they begrudgingly helped. No smiles, and their attitude was as if they shouldn’t be helping me - I later learnt that is EXACTLY what they should be doing amongst other things. Another time I rang for help with feeding, as I was having issues latching but got minimal help - not only were there huge delays on response times but I was made feel like a nuisance. This meant my baby was left under fed for 5 hours - which prompted a midwife to abruptly point out that I should be feeding every 3 hours. I cannot explain how stupid this made me feel. I was later transferred to ward 76 and the level of care was absolutely amazing - this is where I learnt that I can and should ring for help every single time I needed it. Ward 73 staff - sort yourselves out, you’re a disgrace"

"The people at St Michael’s hospital are the most caring lovely people you could meet We had our first baby there and they were 110% and made us feel so well looked after . We will never forget how kind they were and the effort they put in to look after us Even when they were put in an impossible position with everyone turning up at once they remained 100% professional and caring for everyone Well done to you all you make us all very lucky to have you Chris xxx"

"Gotta be the worst hospital around. I came here with my partner as my partner was induced. My son went quiet for days and the hospital did not seem bothered. It took me to really moan for them to do something. Every nurse we saw was a student and made it very hard to get anywhere. I just would not expect an easy ride coming here and would recommend to go elsewhere to have your baby. As a partner they do not make you feel welcome. I get that it is about the mother but fathers are also worried and are entitled to a welcoming experience. Next time we plan to have another baby we will not be coming back here."
