"Very busy, efficient wetherspoons. Nice beer selection but all high gravity. Food good but no veggies. Steak and chips was exactly that. Very tasty though. A great experience.( Photo for illustration only. Not necessarily in the pub)"
"Great location, right in the middle of Bristol, great food as always as a Wetherspoons. Gents toilets are closed temporarily (urinals still in operation though). Lovely looking building and the inside is beautiful. Great atmosphere, would recommend! We went on a Monday around 11am and it wasn't too crowded at all, plenty of seats available and food took less than 10mins to arrive. (The attached photos were taken on the street just outside the building)"
"A very busy bar with an exciting buz about it. The bar is set in a beautiful building retaining historic features. Well done Wetherspoons for that. Tried to order curry using the App. Out of stock, but other people who went to the bar got their curry. The 3 for £12.50 chicken deal was nice,"
"This pub is in a really impressive building I love how so much of the original features have remained like some gas lights there is the main hall area and 2 more smaller dining areas which is nice as they are a bit quieter. I really enjoyed the food the service was fast the person who served me seemed friendly and helpful. I have been passing this place a few times and never realised what it was until I searched online for a wetherspoon and this one came up. The times I had gone past there was no seating outside as the weather had been bad so there was nothing that really stood out to say it was a wetherspoon pub but now there is seating outside they have wetherspoon fencing around the seating which gives it away more that it's a wetherspoon. It's great that they haven't Done anything like a Singh across the front of the building as it's an impressive building but maybe something a bit more to indicate what the place is. This wetherspoon pub really is worth a visit I hope to go back again soon."
"Excellent although at first there was a problem with the coolers this was fixed and all was normal - fantastic venue really friendly staff the Christmas burger was excellent and who doesn't like pigs in blankets - overall a fantastic time and we will be back 25/02 had a pint of corona menu says price should be £3,39 but I was charged £3,79 as per receipt"
