"Absolutely awful company banking on the owners of properties not visiting the flats after the clean (which is the case for most landlords). Charge a lot of money but their cleaners don't do the cleaning to any sort of standard. When they get pulled up on it (e.g. found out) they offer the same cleaners to go out again! Avoid this con."

"I first contacted Hostclean after having a few problems with servicing my Holiday Let.Finding their number on the web,my thoughts were positive about what they could offer. I made contact with them, they knew what I needed and were super polite and helpful more or less getting me organised with my requirements. I have always felt looked after and any perceived difficulties were attended to promptly. They use Whats app and this allows almost immediate contact ( this is a valued approach) I need to know that the property is looked after and that the superb bed linen is in place on the beds, ready for guests arriving.I might add here this is no mean feat because of quick turnarounds for example one guest leaves and the other arrives on the same day.The main thing they do is problem solve and help, with politeness when I had difficulty with their system on the computer. They were super patient with me .We are getting know each other and they are very attentive. As long as my guests are happy like me they are happy. I can recommend them to do the best they can to serve you and you needs Ann Jack"

"I used this company for a short term Airbnb service. Be aware the prices on the website do not include VAT and the Edinburgh city prices differ from Glasgow. I wasn’t told this until the first bill came through. I visited the flat on a few occasions between cleans and it was far from spotless. For £90 a clean, this was unacceptable. I tried to speak to the company but mostly got abrupt and rude replies. I would not recommend this company."
