"This is the first time we have had to deal with ICAB and I hope it is the last ! After 3 days I finally got to speak to someone called Giles who actually listened to me. Previously in the last 3 days I had operators who were rude, cut me off, told me they had more important issues than mine, told me they were very busy insinuating they didnt have the time. I only wanted to tell them that the hotels they were offering were all in or close to red light districts and while I appreciate they dont know my area, it would have saved a lot of time had they listened to me. I offered to contact some hotels myself if it would help. I understand they are busy but there is no need to be disrespectful."

"I'm expected to sleep on this 10cm metal sofa bed because ICAB would not foot the extra £30 fee for an actual bed. The staff are daft and dishonest claiming if the room was available they would have booked it. Upon calling hotels myself I found out that there was availability. I have had to source much of the accommodation myself and essentially do the job for them. They claimed a booking was non-refundable but I got the invoice print out from the front desk and saw this was not true. They claimed that a room upgrade from a sofa bed to an actual bed involved cancelling the booking without refund and creating a new booking at full cost - I had the hotel manager advise this was not true and the truth was unveiled that the sofa bed was sufficient despite explaining my spinal condition. Don't bother unless you want to give up your day job to do their job. I even sourced multiple apartments to avoid moving hotels every few days - these emails were ignored and we had to move hotels 6-7 times. The nightmare is still on going I wouldn't wish it upon anyone."
