"This softplay is amazing! It's like the outdoors but indoors and it's small enough that you can sit on a table and relax whilst the kids have a great time. This is going to be a total staple for us I can tell. Hats off to the lovely staff. To all the negative reviews about how it's not super perfectly baby proofed that's actually a plus in my opinion. Safe risky play is so good for kids and I didn't find it at all risky personally. Also I think it's reasonably prices considering it doesn't have a time limit and it's beautifully done and I'm happy to play for quality."
"My 3 year old loves Wild Things! It is nice to have an indoor space that is not your typical soft play. The wooden climbing area has helped my little ones confidence for using ladders and it is small enough that after she had visited a few times, she feels confident to go around on her own. There are areas where you can't see the children which makes it difficult sometimes keeping an eye from the ground and when an issue arises, but it is large enough to go with her if needed. The sand pit is great and nice area to read books or play with train tracks. Small cafe selling drinks and cakes, which are delicious but no lunch foods, so just have to be prepared for this. Great toilet facilities too with dedicated child toilets. You can see that there has been attention to detail when setting this place up too, which is nice. Staff are always friendly, helpful and genuinely seem like they want to give the best experience and always looking for feedback or how to improve. You may need to be with your little one more here, as it is not 'soft' play but I think it has lots to offer for learning and fun and we always enjoy our time there. Fridays tend to be very busy and while not the cheapest place to visit, it offers something different, which we love. Highly recommend."
"We visited Wild things on a wet Saturday morning as soon as it opened as I needed to entertain my 3 boys aged 6, 4 and 4. We arrived and the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more welcoming. There is no time limit to your stay so I felt the price is ok compared to other soft plays. The boys were super excited to get into the play area. Bringing the outdoors inside is a great concept and the boys loved using the buckets to carry the wood chips up and down. There is a decent slide in the climbing area too. I ordered myself a coffee and the boys a juice and we shared an absolutely delicious rocky road - I highly recommend it! The food was of a high quality and prices for the food was on the same level to other soft plays in the area. The sand pit was also a big hit but my boys are quite boisterous and I was glad that we were early and we left once the smaller children started to arrive. I think Wild things is great and I will definitely be returning with the kids, I just wonder if there would ever be the opportunity for them to expand the concept into a bigger area to keep the older ones even more occupied!"
"Had a really great time there today with my three kids ages 1-3. They all happily entertained themselves and even though it’s small(ish), after 2 hours they still didn’t want to leave! Really friendly staff, delicious cake (we had 3 between us) and generally a very calm, lovely atmosphere. Added bonus being you can actually sit and have a cuppa/talk because you’re close enough to both areas and can hear your child if they call. 100% will be back with more friends."
"The kids toy/play area at the back is good. The beach huts are great but the sandpit area with a huge boulder with sand on it which some kids may climb on seems unsafe. The play area at the front seems unsafe given scaffolding framework is exposed in some areas, timber edges are uneven, chains for buckets are free hanging. Has a lot of potential but not somewhere I'd want to visit again until a fee things are looked at and general safety is improved."
