"Lovely little lake that is fantastic for SUP. We had a great day here with the kids and family. The water was clean and clear and the lake is nicely sheltered by the high sides of the lake. There is a nice place to sit however some areas around the lake have rubbish, broken glass and unknown other dangers, if these were not here it would easily have been 5 stars. The main place to launch though is clear of rubbish and dangerous items. The launch point is very steep and so not suitable for everyone, it takes a bit of effort to get boards down to the water and back up again. With a good clean up of the paths and spots above the lake and a good launch point it's up there with some of the best flat water I've been on. Parking might be an issue during business hours due to needing to use the Bookers carpark, not sure on how they feel about people using their carpark but we went on a Sunday when they were closed."
