"One of our go-to pubs for drinks and good food. It can be cowded but there's always tables outside (just watch out for the seagulls). Great price too."
"Met some work friends here for a couple of beers during a Tuesday night world cup football game. Good atmosphere, decent mainstream beer selection, its if screens to see the sports. Being a northerner, £5.40 a pint seemed steep, but expect that's the normal in the area. Atmosphere was great for the game, generally a mid 20s age group, pub pool available and in use with welcome atmosphere around the table. Staff working the floor were full of energy. Gents must have been fine because I don't really remember it other than going upstairs to get to it."
"Great atmosphere, lively, full and lots of life. Decent music to dance to and good selection of drinks. Limited seating areas which is fine for those who don't need them. Not suitable for those in a wheelchair or with mobility issues as the toilets are up a large flight of stairs. Staff were lovely and even remembered my drink. Very impressive given how many people they were serving. Well done."
"Have been here twice on a Friday night when the live band is playing. It's a great venue to let your hair down and sing and dance to some classics. Last visit though (21st Oct), a few areas near the bar and near the stage smelt really strongly of urine...? Was a bit off-putting."
"Fantastic atmosphere. The staff are friendly. Clean toilets. Great live music to get you dancing. They also play live sporting events."
