"My friend and I used to play down the Glen every spare night and weekend.building dens out of branches and bracken running wild without a care in the world it brings back a lot of memories of times gone. I still visit for those memories to come flooding back. Sadly my mate at the time has passed gone but not forgotten."
"Great walk through the Glen or in the woods...wood paths muddy at this time of year. Unfortunately lots of plastic etc discarded and needs a clean up. Watch out for broken glass on path leading up from Glen to the West of Glenmile bike trails. Have cleaned up most of it."
"An enjoyable walk. Paths are varied, combination of paved paths and trails. It’s easy to find your way round. Easy to make long walks or short ones. Quiet, so quiet we saw a deer. If you are in the area and looking for somewhere to walk, park at the Cumbernauld Theatre and Academy (free parking) There is also a coffee shop at the theatre for post walk snacks. It was cash only! as of Nov 2022. I couldn’t use it as I didn’t have any cash, but the staff were very friendly"
"Great for going walks, jogging / running walking dogs. Clean and tidy. Loads of wildlife. Popular with dog walkers and twitchers. *Could do with more dog mess bins. #KEEPSCOTLANDTIDY & PICK-UP/ TAKE-HOME YOUR WASTE"
