"Really nice hotel with lovely staff who helped out with a self-service checkin issue. Great location within walking distance of basically everything. The breakfast was decent by hotel chain standards. Only minor complaint is that there were very few towels left and they weren't changed by the cleaning staff during the stay. Would definitely return for future Glasgow stays."
"The air conditioning in my room was not good really. It's too noisy and I couldn't sleep properly for 3 nights. I have reported for the issue but no one's listen nicely to sort out the issue. My experience to stay in this hotel is really bad. I'm not satisfied with the service and the way their receptionist talked to me. When I check out the hotel I have asked them for fever if they keep my suitcase for 1 hour, and the receptionist lady said no clearly. Service wise and facilities wise my experience is bad. I'm regret to book this hotel and paid such a big amount. Sorry but their receptionist are very rude, instead of to cooperate with customers and fulfil your needs they clearly say no to you."
"The standard of the room and initial greeting was deserving of a much higher star rating. However we were left frustrated and confused by the actions of a member of reception staff upon the second evening of our stay (Saturday 17/09). We asked if there would be any availability at all for the rest of the night in the Bar and Block Steakhouse attached to the hotel - but before we could even finish our sentence, we were told abruptly that it was fully booked. I then looked for myself online and every slot was free for the remainder of the night. Not sure how this lie benefited this member of staff, or anyone for that matter. It was a clear lack of motivation to provide decent customer service."
"Rooms were spotless as usual. Great location. Next to every shop you could need, lots of pubs/bars/clubs withing meters if the hotel. Only downsides for me was having a view looking into a construction site withing meters of my room window. Outside window was in desperate need of a clean outside also. I love the air-conditioning but I have always slept with a window open for fresh air as I have asthma so not having a window that opens is a bit frustrating. Overall a great hotel and would definitely be back"
