"Great place to stop off when traveling on the A68 to/from the Scottish Borders. Fantastic range of birds to see, from flamingos and Shetland ducks to kookaburras and Himalayan monal. Nice gift shop with local craft and cafe stocked with tasty cakes too. Ticket price is for a whole year so we'll definitely come again."
"£6.50 for 1 student ... For a 1 year pass! Absolutely love this place, feels like a working farm. What to expect? An array of birds, from Emu's, ducks, chickens,Turkeys and even baby ducks and chicks :D would recommend to anyone - very relaxing place plus the people there are friendly and clearly very passionate about what they do. Can't wait to come back again."
"Great wee place. More work to be done but spent an enjoyable hour looking around. Admission is more than reasonable as the ticket is valid for a year. Cafe and kids playground as well as the birds and animals."
"I really enjoyed my visit here! We started with a coffee and a nice piece of cake, both reasonably priced and very tasty. There is a gift shop and play park for the kids. The bird sanctuary is really big and well presented. You can tell that they are getting on their feet just now and that there is a few finishing touches needed. The main one being signs with the names of the types of birds on display. There is plenty of parking available and yearly membership costs £10 for adults and £6.50 for kids. You can then go as many times as you like!"
