"Nice, clean, TV. I love it. It would be 5 stars if not smoke alarm beeping every 50 seconds whole night as it's running out of battery. We noticed it back in mid day and bring reception attention. They say they aware of it and it should be fixed soon. Well they didn't, so because of simple battery replacement we have sleepless night :("
"Fantastic! Room very clean and beautifully presented x Continental self serve breakfast included! Would highly recommend."
"We stayed as a party of 4 the other half of our party had en suites unfortunately we had shared facilities with other guests but were charged the same as our family that had there own facilities. Only one bedside lamp which didn’t have s bulb I made the staff aware of this on the first night saying it was a problem for getting up in the night to go out to use toilet with no light working and got no reply. A sink and mirror in the rooms that don’t have toilets would be a benefit. The breakfast room has no sink so we had to fill the kettle from our shared bathroom for a cup of tea. Also no where for dirty plates to go apart from piled up on the work tops in front hall."
"Very lovely B&B. Have shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are great but they got two types of room ensuite and shared. Shared on got bathroom shared, may not be ideal for many people."
"This guest house has been recently taken over by new management and they can't do enough for their guests. I had a great stay here. The rooms are very comfortable (not plush, but not basic either) and it was easy to get into Edinburgh, as the train station is a few minutes walk away."
