"Great room. Clean and comfy. Nice that they cleaned also the next day(rubbish, bed,towels), didn't need though. Internet connection some times slow. Felt safe in the hotel. Close to bus station, In 30min you get to the royal mile. Amazing food in the restaurant next door. We didn't had breakfast so don't know about that. Staff attentive and helpful."

"This is our third time to stay and once again we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We were originally given room 222 which we felt for a 3 night stay was a little small but the chap on the desk reassigned us to 111 which was a better size. Everything about the rooms are great Except for the pillows.. they are so uncomfortable to sleep on. Far to soft and gives no support especially if you ave have neck problems. My wife ended up putting a cushion inside the pillow case and I used towels. I have to stress this is the only complaint as the bed itself was very comfortable and the shower was amazing . Maybe even if you kept a few firmer pillows available on request that would be great."

"We've stayed 3 or 4 times already at the hotel. We love the easy access to the by-pass yet just far away enough to not have the by-pass noise. Rooms are beautiful with everything you need. Excellent restaurant and super friendly staff. Walking distance to the busstop into Edinburgh is a huge benefit."

"The food is extremely delicious. We enjoyed the variety of options for breakfast as well as the quantity. A full breakfast is really enough for a lunch. The room space is satisfactory and housekeeping team are very professional. They've made the room every day during our stay. The receptionist are friendly and helpful. There's a big car park in front of the hotel and the bus stop is 4 minutes walk. The only drawback in my opinion is that it is quite far from most of the attractions in Edinburgh. Although bus services are available almost all the day, we could have saved some time for transportation. The price was a bit high, but I think we have got high value for money in return. Overall, we had a nice and smooth vacation, and we'd love to come back again."

"Good beds and spacious rooms. Shower was lovely. Quietly located and directly at bus stop to go to Edinburgh. The inn next to the hotel was very cozy and decorated with care. Here you come for breakfast. That breakfast was perfect. Good to know that breakfast is chosen from the menu and there is no buffet. Children can make limited choice from the breakfast menu."
