"Been trying to get 2 manhattan bedside unit for about 2 months. I have got the rest of my bedroom furniture from this company. I have no luck in getting these 2 units. I don't want to pay £50 delivery when I could pick them up at the shop in haddington place edinburgh. I have been phoning them for months now and the man william in the shop keeps telling me they can't get them. I am so disappointed as I need them by the end of June. I spent about £1.000 in this shop. And recommended a friend that bough her bedroom furniture from them. If I don't get these soon I will go somewhere else to fit my other bedroom out. The furniture is good. But trying to add to it is near impossible"

"Purchased bed frame and paid by bank transfer in full! No problem. Guaranteed 4 week delivery but nearly 9 weeks later, no sign of item or delivery date despite repeated promises. William was very civil and polite but this is of little help when seeking refund and cancellation. After personal visit and open phone call (owner hung up on me) in presence of other customers who walked out, refund was finally given in cash. Lovely looking products but don’t be fooled - AVOID where possible unless you have unending patience and plenty money to spare!"

"We first bought some furniture from Home max furniture in 2018 and loved it all so much that when we bought our new home we went into Edinburgh and spoke to William ,about what we could do. We emailed our floor plans and William put some ideas together, we wanted to keep our sofa and William came up with replacing the resting end with a chaise that mirrored the one we already had. I was a little nervous as our sofa is red however you would never know they were bought at separate times. We also bought some more furniture including a dining table with 6 chairs that are different colours and fabrics and the effect is simply stunning we love everything and a huge thank you to William for the fab installation process. The quality in everything we have purchased is second to none absolutely over the moon so thank you Home max furniture for helping us turn our house into a home ."

"Great experience from (Home max furniture) to delivering !! Quality all the way!! really, Spoiled for choice in both in design and fabric. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable , I am delighted with my sofa and dining set, Delivered right on schedule, The delivery service allowed me to choose a perfect time slot. The guys managed two flights of stairs and a tight corner with ease AND they unpacked and removed all the packing materials. Well done all around!! Home max furniture gets 5 STARS. "Quality of the furniture is great but customer service is terrible. If you get something faulty, count at least 3 months and many phone calls and stops at the shop to get a replacement. We bought a sideboard and received it with a door that wasn't even closing despite the stamp from Quality check..."
