"Appalling! Agreed to collect a very nice, high quality TV stand then, a week later, at the very time they said they would collect it, they called to say they weren't going to bother. Total waste of time. AVOID!!!!!"
"Yesterday 30/11/22 I was there ( British heart foundation Scotland 56a Dalry Rd Edinburgh ) approximately at 16:00 ( +- 45 min ) I was interested in a mattress of a foldable guest bed ( it was only the mattress there ) didn't have a price. So I asked a lady clerk about 60 yrs old ( I didn't keep her details ) about the price, she looked and tells me £ 45!! I thanked her, and lost any interest of paying this price ( £45 ) for such condition only mattress for foldable guest bed! The other mattress around was in much BETTER CONDITION and many of in a cheaper price!!! Also a few steps away it was a mattress WITH his foldable guest bed in a very good condition at the same price £45!!!! I was looking this and in a moment this lady into a VERY INELEGANT way cover the price with a board, and removed the Foldable Guest Bed AWAY from me!!! I NEVER BEFORE EXPERIENCE SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL - UNFRIENDLY ( almost hostile ) TREATMENT, AS WELL AS UNBELIEVABLE OVERCOSTING for a used mattress ( not in good condition ) of a foldable guests bed. After this UNBELIEVABLE experience, I LOST ANY APPRECIATION FOR BRITISH HEART FUNDATION."
"Very knowledgeable and first class delivery of excellent goods.Furniture is very well priced and in very good condition. I buy from here for the quality at sensible prices."
"Extremely picky about their furniture!! They pretend they are BoConcept or something. I even called in advance to describe a set of table and chairs and they said they would accept. Once we spent money and petrol on getting it to them they flat out refuse to take the wooden table and only take the chairs as they are apparently the only ones that are in a 'sellable' condition. These are complete lies (see pictures attached) as I bought the table and chairs second hand and when I tried to sell on Gumtree there were many individuals that were interested. We simply had to move before we could sell it to a person so ended up driving it to the charity shop. They just handpicked the chairs and said to take the rest to the tip (which was closed by that point) when the wooden table only had a few marks on the top and could be restored easily. Frankly they increase the litter in the world and for a charity shop to put prices this high and be this picky is appalling when they could sell the table and chairs simply by lowering the price. Any money should still be money if it is gifted."
"EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. SHOP STAFF, (IN PARTICULAR SHONA WHO WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!!). DELIVERY WAS ORGANIZED AND PUNCTUAL. I FURNISHED MY DINING/SITTING ROOM FOR £285. SEE FOTOS."
