Reviews
"One of the major party hubs for the fringe, best visited when it’s rocking after dark. Spent rather too much time here, chatting over a few libations with friends, performers, and random festival goers. If you like this, you’ll also like George Street, which is pedestrianised and filled with open air bars for the duration, also Bristo and George Square. So much fun!"
"Always a buzz place but not enough variety of food. Drink - no problem. If you like people watching and listening to folk presenting their shows, then this the place to be. The actual shows are varied and good fun and great for impetuous decisions!"
"Great place to visit during the Fringe, so much going on, lots of different stages and areas to visit. Great outdoor seating with lots of shade, really diverse shows so something for everyone. We warched Eh up me Flowers, the story of Charlie Williams, so interesting, loved it It has the best atmosphere, a really nice space to soak up the Edinburgh Fringe."
"Incredible Venue! Recently visited during The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the whole things is extremely well organised and got to see some amazing shows including, Closure, Police Cops, Mark Watson. Decided to head back up before the Festival is over as I didn’t get to see as much as I wanted."
"This is one of the main venues for the Edinburgh Fringe festival. It has multiple venues and halls of various sizes. Usually homes the more famous and established comedians and shows usually sell out quickly. Early booking advised for shows. The courtyard has plenty of drinking options and some seating outside and bars inside too"
