Reviews
"A huge park next to Edinburgh University, mega lots of paths, places to run, quiet place, atmospheric look by the number of trees and mega green lawn, characteristic in these areas. I recommend taking a walk or sitting with a book and coffee."
"This was the longest queue of people I have ever seen. It was not a walk in the park, you needed patience and endurance. There were thousands and thousands of people pouring in thoughout the night. The love and respect for the Queen was clear to see. People of all walks of life and all backgrounds were there."
"Beautiful park with views of Arthur’s Seat, the Crags and other attractions. Great for sitting in and having a picnic, especially during the summer."
"Fancy frisbee, footie, rugby, a hang out with hundreds of students? The meadows is the place. People picnic here, have barbecues and it's right close to everything in Edinburgh. There's a cycle and walking path and they really are green green meadows."
"Great for dog walking. During most days it won’t be too crowded for running your dog around, unless the sun comes out and it’s closer to a weekend or holiday. Then expect to weave in and out of picnicers, bbqers and drinkers. Occasionally festivals and other events will also be on."
