Reviews
"Staff are rude and dismissive. Saying how much better and how they make much more money than the bottom Scotmid. I tell you that the staff in the bottom Scotmid are so much nicer and much more helpful."
"Messy, rude, unorganised, shambles. Health code violations! "Fresh", open, bakery food left on the GROUND whilst staff sweep the floor right next to it! Photo included. Disgusting and unsanitary! Somehow the place is constantly being restocked everyday with huge metal crates blocking isles and empty cardboard boxes everywhere, yet half the stuff is out of stock. Fruit and veg section is utterly depressing, coffee machine gives luke warm coffee at best. Some (not all) of the staff are always grumpy and taking it out on customers. All this yet its the most expensive food shop in the area. I'll be shopping at the cleaner, friendlier and cheaper Tesco Express down the road in future."
"Great shop. Staff very friendly and helpful. A good selection on offer."
"Not usually one to make complaints but found this very frustrating in the morning. Went in at 8am for a packet of cigarette skins and the old woman serving kept looking at me strange while I waited in line, so I'm not sure if she already knew me from somewhere and had some sort of problem. She asked me what age I was, so I told her 19 which I am. Most of the staff in there have taken my ID with no problem and been lovely but she didn't even ask for my ID, she told me I had to be 25 and asked me to leave. That was quite funny considering the shop down the road took my ID no problem and gave me skins. The whole ordeal felt very confrontational from that start and really unnecessary. I never said a single thing wrong but she lied through her teeth to get me to leave the shop, very strange. Anyway I think I'll just go to James Millers from now on, since I've never been treated like a child from someone in a bad mood there before."
"Chill cabinet in store providing beer and wines at room temperature.i brought this to the attention of counter staff to be told yes I know ? The point of a chill cabinet is to chill drinks I thought ????"
