"I went to this garage as I had an engine management light come on. We got told it was an EGR valve that needed replaced. Got told it was a 3 hour job and would cost almost £700. The garage were aware that we were in a rush and needed the repair done and I feel they were using this to their advantage. After looking up the price of the part, the most expensive I could find it at including VAT was £200. So you're talking the best part of £500 for 3 hours of labour at this garage. Whereas the going rate is between £50-£70 an hour in every other garage in Glasgow. Fortunately we managed to get another garage in Hamilton that done the work in the same time frame and charged less than half the price of this garage. They even done a health check and coolant fluid top up for free. I would highly recommend checking the quote given with another garage before accepting any work to be done with this garage."

"My car was making a droning noise so brought it in. Hadn't used these guys before. They were very friendly + accomodating. Told me my rear braking system had collapsed in on itself + fused to my bearing. Would cost me £400 and that was before they could even check the bearing. I have a mechanic back home who price checked this and told me I should only have been charged £200. When I mentioned this Bestfit were very accommodating and told me could go somewhere else + their price is their price. Told me I couldn't drive it on the road though and so I would have to find someone to tow it. Took it to another garage recommended by a friend who informed me Bestfit had lied about the braking system. This was not faulty and the only issue had been the original bearing. Only charged me £50. These guys are crooks. Tried to tell me I couldn't drive my car on the road when it was road safe. Tried to overcharge me for problems that didn't exist"

"I've been taking my cars to the team at Best Fit for the last 10 years for MOT, servicing and general repairs and the service has been consistently spot on. I have an older car so my MOT can be a bit of a worry, but the team are brilliant when explaining any issues and any repairs needed have been done quickly with quality parts and at a reasonable cost. I've had a couple of emergencies and the guys have been great at squeezing me in to get me back on the road. Can't recommend Best Fit enough - thanks guys!"

"My Mercedes E350 experienced an Airmatic suspension failure while enroute to Fife from London. Hunted high and low for a firm to look at the issue and fix-up in the local area.. Nowhere on the east coast could help, either not experienced enough or too busy. Looking further afield, I tracked down BestFit services in Glasgow. Farid and the team were incredibly helpful. Not only did they make time to look into ASAP, they were confident in being able to fix. While the car was with them, they also managed to squeeze in a service/MOT and a brake clean. Will be scheduling holidays to coincide with future servicing. Seriously impressive guys, am very grateful! JV"
