"Called in on what was obviously a very busy day. Had to wait for a table. As my daughter is in a wheelchair and needs gluten and dairy free food, I asked a server if they had any before waiting in the queue and being disappointed. She waved at the board and said soup and walked away from me. I thought she was coming back but unfortunately not. As we didn't like either of the choices we left. We had travelled some miles to visit on the reviews and were bitterly disappointed with our treatment. I realise that the server was busy but manners cost nothing."
"Enjoyed a lovely scone and tea served by a friendly smiley lady who passed the time of day."

"A wonderfully welcoming and friendly cafe in collaboration with the Parish church of Bothwell. Bright, clean (including lovely toilets), wonderful fresh fare and great chatty staff. Only really busy on Friday mornings with groups and toddlers and such. Well worth a visit at any other time."
