"The food was wonderful, unfortunately the service was not. On a cold evening, no one offered to take our coats , we asked and on collecting them found them dumped on a chair. My daughter described the type of red wine she liked and asked for a recommendation from the menu. The waitress said she didn’t drink so didn’t know, she made no attempts to find someone who did. When we did get our drinks they were wrong twice. The restaurant has an extensive menu but we had to ask twice for extra time to read it. On paying, my husband was told his card hadn’t swiped and the waiter put the machine back down before leaving .it was all very, take it or leave it.. As I said the food is excellent but expensive, it would however be worth it with better service. In reply to The reply, the waitress seemed so confused to be asked to take coats that the rest of us sat on ours. Why , in winter, is the coat rack in a cold corridor? My husband is disabled so he had to lean over plants and the counter to access the machine. It didn’t work because it was upside down. The initial response was for the man to slam it down in the holder and flounce off leaving my husband standing there. A waitress got the machine and handed it to him to insert the card. With regards to the wine , it is an Italian restaurant and my daughter asked for a wine comparable to Valpolicella , not a sommelier level question. Not the evening out we had hoped for on a special occasion. My post on Facebook was much milder than this , merely asking for other reviews in case we had got them on a bad down, it was mysteriously taken down within an hour."
"Food was good but the service was not great. We sat for 15 mins with our empty plates in front of us, and there were 3 team members standing talking at the bar. Worst garlic bread I've ever had. Restaurant was so cold I had to keep my jacket on, as did other guests. The meal was decent but expensive for what we had."
"Amazing food, took us last weekend at short notice and just made us aware they needed table back for a certain time… great service and much appreciated."
"Good coffee, though could have been larger. Didn't have cakes but they looked rich and appetising. Service was fine. The place was quiet so hard to judge atmosphere. Overall good but not outstanding"
"A great place for pizzas with good location (next to avenue shopping mall so you can park the car free for 4 hours). Big menu, gluten free menu and kids menu are available. The pizzas are good with reasonable prices. Starters and drinks are a bit overpriced with small portion and for me, ordinary quality. The services obviously need to be improved. We arrived at the front where a sign said "wait to be seated" but no one came out to ask us although plenty of free tables inside and we were the only ones queueing. Simple things we requested had to be asked a few times before eventually got it (wine glasses, water, etc.). The soft drink can they gave me was filthy and opened. Nowhere for you to put the umbrella or jackets."
