"I had a tattoo on my left forearm done by Scott Ashmore at the Dark Horse Gallery. From the minute I arrived I felt welcomed and well looked after. The studio is lovely and clean, the artists are most talented and I'd have no problem recommending to anyone, I'll certainly be returning (again) in the future! Have attached a photo but the tattoo is covered in film to protect it hence the lines and light reflection"
"A great place, welcoming & comfortable. Amazing artists and great personalities! Alice works absolute wonders and is an incredible artist, I would 100% recommend for first time tattoos as well as new additions!"
"Had a day sitting at Dark horse collective with Ollie kirkham, fantastic experience. Very welcoming, nice clean shop and workspace with a good vibe from the whole team. Ollie who reworked some previous bad artwork for me from a previous artist, was patient, friendly and explained how he would go about reworking the tattoo and how the tattoo will flow through the arm. Ollie is very skilled and passionate about tattooing and it showed on my sleeve. Love my new tattoo and I will be booking in again very soon too get my next one can't wait. Cheers for a great experience guys"
"I can’t say enough good things about my experience here getting tattooed by Liberty. Alongside feeling so welcome and comfortable in a beautiful studio with passionate artists, I’ve come away with a world class piece of artwork. I can’t wait to visit again"
"Botched tattoo !! Booked in for a tattoo with the owner of this place (Richard Harris) after getting an old tattoo Lasered. I required two sessions in total !! What a huge mistake. My first session was supposed to start at 10:00am, but the tattooist didn't approach me until 12:05pm, and started by 12:30. He simply didn't seem aware that I was timing him. If I hadn't already left a deposit a would have walked out at this point. The rest of the session proceeded as it should have. But things were about to get worse on the second session. He stretched out the time and tattooed me at a snails pace to fill the day. But it gets worse still. Halfway through this session he changed the artwork drastically and created an underdeveloped orange wash that looked a mess. When I told him that this could not stay like this, the artist got a little irate with me. I decided to leave and try to complain via phone the next day the shop actually was open. I did this and the artist went completely bonkers down the phone and hung up. He had to call back later to apologise, but refused to correct the tattoo unless I paid him more money. I had already paid £1000. Needless to say he got a piece of my mind. Once the tattoo had healed, it looked even worse, faded as well. I approached Vivid Ink and asked them their opinion on its quality. They weren't very favourable and told me the tattoo had been rushed and the fading was the fault of the tattooist and nothing I had done during the healing process. Needless to say I will never return here. It's gonna cost me another grand to fix it. Do yourself a favour and avoid this one. Go to Modern Body Art, Vivid Ink or New Identity instead."
