"Extremely helpful staff for advice and puchase of small pets. Staff were extremely busy dealing with customers at the till and enquiries which did make it hard to get their attention and not feel rushed. Very happy with purchases though."

"The people that work here are often very friendly and I'm sure many of them are animal lovers. But they could be better informed about the animals that they cater for. As they did not know why some hays are said to be suitable for just rabbits. I also received an email when their nuggets changed to say that the old nuggets would still be available in store, but when I went to buy them they were not and when I mentioned how I only had enough nuggets for a couple of days, (not enough to transition my guinea pig to different nuggets, which was even more worrying when my guinea pig would not eat the new nuggets) nothing was mentioned about being able to buy the old nuggets. After receiving that email however, I purchased them online. Furthermore, whenever I buy anything edible from pets at home I always check whether each ingredient is safe. You would be surprised at the amount of things that they sell that at least have something that is pretty unhealthy for your pets. Having dangerous products in their shops somehow does not give you the impression that the company care about animals, which is funny when everything they sell is for animals. Lastly, the majority of the cages and hutches they sell are too small and some of them are dangerous too. It's worst for hamsters and fish, but as far as I'm aware nothing they have is actually big enough for a rabbit. So whenever I go into the shop, I can't help but worry about the adorable animals they have their (which from what I've heard are bred poorly and treated pretty poorly too. The little space they have while waiting for homes also is not great) and the homes they may be going to. I really feel like more needs to be done to protect these animals so many of us love. They deserve better."

"What can I say about Beth on sales, but what an outstanding employee representing this outlet. Pets at Home should be well proud of this young lady. She was very polite and her product knowledge was terrific. From the time I stepped into the shop to leaving she was an absolute credit to company. Keep up the good work Beth !!"
