"A delightful place to walk with family and dogs. A great cafe is open until about 2.30pm (in November) and there is a play area for children. Lots of geese and ducks hope to be fed. The circular walk around the lake will be achievable for most and wheelchair users will be able to get around it too."
"Great free park, with outdoor play area for children. A decent walk around the lake but not too far. Plenty of wildlife and fishing spots for enthusiasts. Small cafe and toilets. Accessible parking for Blue badge holders."
"Great here for cycling and walking, plenty of intertwining tracks to wander around on, including the old colliery area. Very peaceful setting and a multitude of routes to take in different directions like the Chesterfield canal, Clowne Greenway to see Creswell crag's, Rother valley country park etc all off-road along Trans Pennine trail and old railway lines."
"Ideal walk around main ponds for disabled as most of paths are flat, just dont venture into the nature reserve as it can be boggy and quite uneven. Cafe when open is ok for drinks but check the menue prices for food as can be expensive compared to other country parks I visit."
