"Peter responded to our broken oven within a couple of hours of my call which was fantastic. He replaced the element and cleaned the oven! Unfortunately, once he'd already started the job he informed me it would cost £140 instead of the quoted £90 as he'd been unable to replace the element where the oven was situated and had needed to remove it from it's casing making it a bigger job. As the oven was already out I agreed to pay but wouldn't use again. A £20 element and £120 labour for no more than an hour's work was a rip off! It's a shame because he was efficient, capable and passionate about his work but IMO a quote is a quote and a change in price should be agreed before any work begins."

He called when he was on his way, and within an hour of him arriving the oven is as good as new!
