"We booked the farmhouse and 3 cottages for a hen do. It was the best venue i have ever been to!! Everything was clean and as descripted on the website, the beds were really comfy and the room sizes were great. Couldn't fault a thing about it, thank you so much for having us and we cant wait to come back."
"We were staying in cottage 2 for 2 nights. The cottage smelled of new paint. The bedrooms were noisy you could hear the noise from the road nearby. The shower was terrible with the block drainage. The toilet wasn't in the great condition when we were arrived. The mattress was bad. I couldn't sleep well for the 2 nights. I'm not happy with this and don't think it worths the money."
"Convenient location and easy drive to York. Cottages are spacious and comes with all amenities for self catering. There is a BBQ and HOTTUB which was really good. We were in cottage 8. Close to a busy road and can be noisy if you open the windows/doors"
"We had a lovely week with my elderly mother and farther and our dog, great location for us, out side the town centre walks and fields all around. Short drive to york and shops. The cottage 3 was clean tidy and good size for us, all on one level as mom struggles to walk far now. I am looking to rebook for my wifes birthday in november"
"During our stay here we had many issues, broken lights, overflowing grey water, no shower temperature control and some small stuff. Luckily the handyman was able to fix most of it in a timely manner. The location is great, only a 10 minute drive to York. The rooms are nice, and the beds are quite comfy. We had 22 people staying over and after some furniture moving we all fit around the dinner table to enjoy Christmas dinner together."
